Ludlum Measurements, Inc. offers a full service repair and calibration department at their facility in Sweetwater, Texas. They not only repair and calibrate Ludlum instruments, but most other manufacturers instruments as well. Repair estimates are offered at no cost and repair and modification charges are based on material cost plus labor. Labor rates are billed for actual time.

Anytime an instrument needs repair, Ludlum will determine
the problem and contact you with an estimated cost before beginning any
work. If an instrument is sent for recalibration and a problem arises that
requires repair they will advise you before any repair work is performed.

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is proud to announce the opening of their new Calibration Department alongside their Protean Instrument Division in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
This facility will ensure instrument owners in the Tennessee region will receive the same quality calibration service as provided by the Ludlum factory. The Tennessee Division will be calibrating using methods in accordance with ANSI N323-1997, and as recommended by Ludlum's factory in Sweetwater, TX. Sources used for calibration are traceable to the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST). They are currently limited in the instruments they calibrate at this facility, so please contact them to inquire about your instrument.
The Ludlum Measurements Tennessee Calibration facility offers factory calibrations on the following Ludlum Measurements, Inc. Models: Model 2, Model 3, Model 12, Model 14C, Model 2401, Model 2402, Model 2403 with scintillation and GM detectors.
The Ludlum Measurements Calibration Department Tennessee Division will work to achieve the same calibration capabilities currently demonstrated at their LMI factory headquarters. As they expand their capabilities at this new facility, the list of LMI instrument models they are capable of calibrating will grow. If your Ludlum Instrument is not currently listed in the models outlined above, we encourage you to contact the Calibration Department Tennessee Division with your inquiry.

Calibration Contracts |
Ludlum Measurements, Inc. offers you a one-stop calibration service for most of your instruments, not just your Ludlum equipment. Plus, Ludlum is one of the few companies that service and calibrate neutron detection instruments. Calibration Contracts are available for both new and already in operation instruments. If your instrument requires special handling outside our standard calibration we can accommodate those needs as well. Advantages of a 5-year Calibration Contract are: savings of up to 15% over "per incident" calibrations, no price increases during contract period and notification when an instrument is due for calibration. The 5-year Calibration Contract includes: as found readings, two points per range, a single probe, NIST traceability, ANSI N323 compliance, one calibration per 12 month period and notification on calibration due date.
