Sales Engineer

Ron Ulbrich grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from Snow College in southern Utah. His first job out of college was with Nuclear Controls and Electronics where he started as a draftsman but quickly rose through the ranks of manufacturing and then into engineering. Kaman Sciences bought this company and transferred Ron to their headquarters in Colorado Springs where he became a systems sales engineer promoting state-of-the-art digital radiation monitoring systems for nuclear power plants. Ron joined Eberline Instruments in 1984 and remained there for nearly 20 years serving as a product line manager and marketing manager.
In 2008, Ron joined Ludlum as the Marketing Manager and moved to Sweetwater, Texas with his family. Ron considers his time at Ludlum as the best he has ever had. His only regret is that he did not join them earlier. Ron believes strongly in Ludlum products, its people, and in their business ethics. Don Ludlum is his personal hero and it has been a thrill of a lifetime to work alongside him. Coming to work at DEQ affords Ron to continue serving Ludlum and rejoin two former Eberline colleagues, Mike and Jeff.
